I will be doing a 6 week training course in Brisbane and need somewhere to stay. I will be by myself. Hotels will cost a fortune for this amount of time. I also checked out Brisbane Cottages but that also is not affordable for one person. Any other ideas, please.

Brisbane is full of students loking for accommodation at present..Our family hosts students and I know there is a desparate shortage of accom.

Also look on www.realestate.com.au it although usually for long term share though..Are you a member of couchsurfers? Within their web pages it is possible to sometimes find shorter term accom.
