Doha Travel Forum

Hi everybody,
I'm travelling from Milan to Delhi in qatar airways via Doha and I have to stay in the airport for 17 hours between flights. So rather I'm thinking of visiting the Doha city. I'm an Indian national. So will I get transit visa on arrival in Doha airport ? or what is the procedure? how much it costs? I would be grateful if someone can help me....

Hi - don't know where you are now but you should check with the Qatar Embassy in Milan or the one in Delhi/Mumbai for the correct information (or whichever country you are currently locared). Everything I have seen online has been conflicting. All the best!

You are not going to get a visa in the airport. Don't even think about it.

If you can afford a hotel, contact one in Doha (they're on the internet) and ask them to help you get a visa. If you can't afford a hotel, forget it.

If you have residence visa of any GCC countries, you will get visa on arrival or you will have to get it in advance thru hotels or thru any of your relatives or friends who are Qatar residents. The passport holder of all developed nations like some Europian countries,America,japan,Malasia,Korea etc..not India, can also have visa on arrival.

No, sorry. Not true. It depends on where you are from and what the status level of your job is.
