Hi my boyfriend will be in Panama City in late May for work. I want to meet him on the tail end of the trip and then we want to head to Bocas Del Toro for a few days. Can someone recommend a mid-priced accomodation? As it's only a few days, we can spend a little more if necessary. Just looking to enjoy the beach and water: snorkeling, etc. Any specific excursions you would recommend? Thanks so much in advance. We're really excited!!! Looks beautiful!

Check out bocas.com. Most hotels are listed. I've stayed at Hotel Angela for $50 and Playa Mango for $120. Lots in between depending on what you want (AC, pool, internet, etc). On the same web page Bocas Sailing is listed on the right. Great day trip. Marcel takes you out on his catamamran to sail, snorkel and watch the dolphins play. He also provides a sandwich and a cooler full of cold drinks (first one is included, $1 each after that). It costs a little more than the rest of the tour boats, but they cram you in and they all go to the same spots. Marcel goes where the others don't.
You're correct, Bocas is beautiful. Enjoy!
