The cheapest way is to come in a day in advance and rent a car from Dollar. They have a free shuttle to the rental place which is not on the airport property. Then the next day, turn the car in, and they have a free shuttle to the port.
Of course you would have to pay for the hotel and car and meals, but the getting to the port is free. Otherwise, I'm afraid it is a taxi or a transfer arranged by the cruise ship.

You can also check out Super Shuttle (www supershuttle.com) which is a shared ride in a van that makes regular runs out to the port. It will be cheaper if there is only 1 or 2 people. If there'e more than that a taxi will be less money per person.

I've had bad luck with Super Shuttle in Miami (although I use the very good Shuttle Express here in Seattle all the time). At the Miami airport, they were completely disorganized recently, were sorting people in line by the destination they were headed for (instead of doing it by a computer matching system), and people were getting very angry and heated up after long waits. I finally took a taxi, which was reasonable.

Easy. When arriving at the Miami Airport, just take the Alamo Shuttle Bus, which will take you to their Station. When you arrive there, you get out of the bus and you take then the shuttle bus for the Miami Port. You don't have no pay anithing. It is not nice, but still an option.

The best way is just to walk out of the airport and get into one of the 100s of waiting cabs in the cab line. It is a 10 minute ride that will cost you less than $25.00 including the tip.
No waiting, straight to the port, end of story.
