what is the best way to get from Copan to Antigua? how long does it take and how much it could cost?

there are regular tourist shuttles and the bus company Hedman Alas operates 1st class buses there at 1.30pm daily.
the shuttles are about $15 and i don't know the cost of the the bus but their website may say

It takes about 6 to 7 hours by bus and costs from USD$7 to $15. Note that there is a border crossing. Check out the following Web site for more information.

The shuttle is the best way and the cheapest. It is about six hours depending on who, if anyone is being dropped in Guat. city. $15 well spent - trust me - I came in from NE Guatemala via three chicken buses and a mini and it was more expensive and not quick!

thank you all fro sharing your ideas and experiences. I inquired with Hedman Alas bus company since there was no prices on the website. and they cited the price between $41-50 for a bus ride. seems like prices went up more than threefold...

Low US dollar exchange rate and high gas price probably contribute to the price increase.

I was just there shortly after new year so I doubt the shuttle prices have changed THAT much? Just turn up, don't book it in advance and you will get better prices than all the online garbage. There are several shuttle companies that go every day so no real worry about availability.
