There are taxis at the airport that can take you acros the border (enquire at information)-these are not the normal cabs. Alternately you can take a normal cab to Rochor Road where you go to the bus/taxi meeting point for trips to malaysia-you can catch a malaysian cab there. The cheap way would eb to to take a bus to the border then catch a local Malaysian cab from there.

fastest way is to take a cab from the airport but it will cost like SGD60-80. Very expensive, if youe are not rushing, u can take MRT from Changi airport to Jurong East, then walk across the platform to take another line to Kranji MRT station, from there, you can take a bus 170,160 or CW1,CW2 to Woodland checkpoint, and after u stamp your passport, you continue to take the same bus that you have taken to cross the causeway to johore checkpoint (public transport is like less than SGD5 in total)Then at Johore checkpoint you can get a cab to the hotel (RM6-15) depending on the location, but the cab there tends to cheat tourist, so if you want i can give you a cab uncle that i always call when i go JB to pick you up, he doesn't charge very high, very reasonable
