| Granada | Transport from Seville Posted: Mon March 24, 2008 02:51 AM UTC
I wish to travel from Seville to Granada. Is there any train? Should I get the bus? Which is the fastest way?

Heya, I think that train would be the best option..buses are cheaper, but train is always on time and also very high quality

Either bus or train. If you go to this page you can find the times of the trains: http://www.renfe.es/horarios/english/index.html
Think there are 4 trains a day which are small 4 carriages or maybe more ones that run from Seville to Almeria on the coast stopping at Granada and elsewhere. If you are staying in BARRIO SANTA CRUZ area in Seville you may find that the station called SAN BERNADO is easier to get to and catch the train. The train starts at the main railway terminus at Santa Justa the proceeds going underground and stopping at San Bernado station 3 minutes later. The San Bernado station is not usually very busy and certainly less confusing than the big terminus at Santa Justa for travelling to Granada, Malaga,Cadiz etc. The bus is also good - takes about the same time - 3 hours. You get the bus from the Prado de San Sebastian bus terminal which is even closer to the barrio Santa Cruz ! You can pre book tickets if you are wanting to be sure on the bus at www.movelia.es or you can prebook train on the internet but not more than 2 weeks in advance on this particular route.
