I have had things bought in Kuching shipped both to Australia and USA, so I would imagine you would have no problems either. blow pipe you will need to post but other items are better carried as hand luggage as one of the bowls from the interior of borneo arrived in the mail with a chip added to it!

Hi Tony, I am not sure if you are travelling further and not go home yet. Otherwise you can actually bring the blow pipe and the statues with you on the plane but as check-in luggage, you'll need to inform the check-in staff so they'll hand carry it into the plane for you. I've carried blowpipe as souvenir for family in UK without any problem, just declare it as handicraft gifts item at the Uk customs. The other option is post them direct at the post office or courier them back home. You will not have problem as long as it's declared properly. Hope this help. Cheers, Roger
