If you introduce yourself by completing the VT homepage, you will get more replies responding to your needs and interests.
BTW: Kunming is a wonderful place, I am sure that you will easily find food and shops you are looking for. Ask the hotel rception, then use the cheap taxis and buses to get around. Richard
