I will be working here and staying at the Ritz. It's a great hotel but I like to dance and party a little. I do not understand how safe it is to meet lady's willing to dance, if I can even talk to them. This is my first time here and right now I scared I'll get arrested for looking at someone. Qarties are very private people and I've been yelled at for taking pictures of the lobby at the Ritz and what I thought was a police motorcycle but it turned out to be military. I own a motorcycle and thought it would be nice to have a picture. Then I see other people taking pictures in the lobby, so what am I to think. My co-workers are wondering what trouble I will get into next.

Any suggestions anyone???

not many places to go but try the club in the basement of the Ramada; probably the best place in town despite it appearing to be a 'gay club' with all the men dancing together. You can dance with women there but many of them are hookers or simply unattractive.

Well, there is not many disco or pubs here in Doha. Most of the time, I will go to the sealine to have BBQ and you can dance/ party there. No alcohol allowed. Get to know a few friends here and enjoy the fun. I will be flying back to Kuala Lumpur tonight. Hope to catch you some time in Doha.
