Hurghada Travel Forum

Does anyone knows something about this hotel? I have hurd that there`s a gread difference in quality if you have a room in the main building or in the bungalows.
I am looking for a nice hotel, with nice beach and OK food.

well i was in Hurghada last year!
i saw this hotel! seems nice but it is far from the cente of the town!try to find something more close to the centre!
you will see very intersting places! and ofcourse you should have good company there!!! regards, Alla

The Hilton Long Beach is on the way out of Hurghada. It has a lovely beach with a resident dive company. The bungalows are lovely but it is quite a walk then to Reception.

The local buses do pass from the end of the driveway and if you want to go into the new Touristic Area should not pay more than 1 le. If you are going to Sekalla or to Dahar, the old part of town, now more than 2 LE.

Of course the Hotel does have it's own limousine service but this will obviously cost you more.

It really does depend on what you want from your vacation. If you want to be in the centre of things with lots of bars/restaurants/nightlife just outside, this is not the Hotel for you. On the other hand if you want somewhere just to chill out and perhaps have the odd night out, then go for it.

So, you all think that it`s not a bad choice? I just want to recharge my batteries, and since it`s my fifth visit to Egypt, I really do not need to be near centar.

You made a good choice, it's very nice hotel, a bit far away from the center but it's nice beach, and you 'll get all services in the hotel...
An advice, if you plan to make some excursions, don't book it with the hotel, they are more expensive than the local agencies. I have a good contact but it's in french language, http://nazardiving.googlepages.com, they also speak english.
