Hello,

does anybody know what the weather is like in august - september in Hoi An and surroundings? am thinking of going there to relax, also at the beach. and, would you know of any nice beachside hotels? I've heard the Victoria is nice although the beds are hard. thanks.

I had great weather in Hoi An from about Sept 1 - 5, sometimes cloudy but generally great and in the pool everyday (we didn't stay by the beach).By the time I arrived in Cambodia 2 or 3 weeks later there was a cyclone off Hoi An and lots of damage - who can tell?
Check out weather Underground - www.wunderground.com - where you can look up weather for any dates and places over the past couple of years. We did this and decided we were going to be OK!
There were a lot of new places going up on the beachfront.
In Vietnam I found the majority of beds hard and just got used to it!

Not sure about the weather that time of the year but we stayed at the Palm Garden Resort for 5 days last year and it was fantastic. We emailed the hotel directly and got a very good deal in a duluxe beachfront room. Whilst we really like the hotel it would have also been nice to stay in Hoi An to get a better feel for the town, though the hotel has regular shuttles into town.

the weather in Hoian surround august- september is till sunny and hot, good for beach break holiday too, only if unfortunately some typhoon come over, there are so many good beach hotel and resort in there such as golden sand resort, hoian river beach, palm garden resort ,,,,, in peak season for sure it is hard to book accomodation with good rate through internet, My friends book it through local travel agent Viet Vision Travel, can book axtra airport transfer service, day tours aroun.

And what someone can say about the sea in July? What about plancton, meduse and so on?
I'll spend in Hoi An 7 days in July. I hope the weather will be sunny. But what about the sea and waves?
