| Washington D.C. | Bars/Clubs on a Monday/Tuesday night Posted: Wed March 19, 2008 02:26 PM UTC
Hi, I'm going to DC with friends in June. We'll be there for 2 nights - a Monday and Tuesday. We'd like to know if there's any good bars/clubs that will have life in them on those nights. We're staying near Dupont circle.

Male? Female? Monday and Tuesdays are just not the "happening" evenings anywhere but I have had friends go to DC and they like to hang out at the sports bars. You might try that route.

If depends on how old you are and what kind of life you're looking for. You can check out The Big Hunt, Lucky Bar, Front Page, Buffalo Billards, Cafe Citron, Timberlakes (never crowded but I like the bartenders). Those are all really close together. The Brickskeller Saloon is large and has lots of beer. Kramer book store has a bar in the back and then a restaurant behind that.On the nicer side you could try the Russia House, Circa at Dupont. All of these are in Dupont.
