Arriving Santiago Benitez Intl early on Sunday, April 13,2008. Looking for shared ride to NCL Dream in Valparaiso Cruise Terminal. We are a party of two with 2 bags and a carryon. Anyone else searching this route?

If you find anyone else for a shared trip (by taxi I suppose), consider using public transportation, which is rather easy and cheap.
- From the airport take a mini-bus (you can not miss the kiosk in the arrival hall) to Pajaritos Station. Takes about 10 minutes. - From Pajaritos Station to VALPARAISO, buy a ticket and take one of the buses (we had Tur Bus / www.turbus.com); they leave very frequently. Bus ride takes about 75 minutes. - From the central bus station in Valparaiso take one of the many taxis to the cruise port. happy travels Jaap

Although the bus is an economical option, I would not recommend it if you have four suitcases plus carry ons. I think you will find it difficult to mind all your luggage in the bus stations. I would look on a cruise specific forum for others wishing to share transportation.

"If you find anyone else ...."

Been there done that! LOL
I flew down a couple of days early to see Santiago, before sailing out. The far best deal I could was the NCL bus. They pick up in two locations the airport and the Sheraton Hotel. For $40 dollars, I handed them my bags, jumped on the bus and enjoyed a nice smooth ride up to the ship. Using their bus, I never had to deal with my bags again. BTW... you need to pack a rabbit's foot, four leaf clover and anything else you may have for luck. The Dream has had a very rough year. I did the Crown from Santiago to Miami last spring, then did the Miami to Santiago followed with a back to back. Twenty eight days of interesting problems on the Dream. But not near as bad as a couple of weeks later when the ran her into another ship. Pack your sense of humor and have fun.

Also, If you're flying Lan Chile, they offer a shuttle service to Vina. You can then cab it to Valparaiso? Just a thought.
