Hello everyone, I have booked 3N/4D on Presidential Nile cruise Luxor to Aswan. Can anyone share their experience. Although my travel is confirmed it would give me comfort to know that they are okay. Thanks in advance.

My brother and his wife did one of these Presidential cruises about 18 months ago - I don't remember the name of their particular ship - it was quite small and they booked it Last Minute through Thomson. They spoke very highly about it overall -: travel arrangements excellent; good cabin accommodation, excellent Egyptian Tour Guide on shore excursions; good breakfast and lunch.

Only negatives- on board smoking - although not allowed anywhere but on open deck the smoke pervaded everywhere. Poor evening meals.

And - this was just the luck of the draw -they were stuck with boring, whining, complaining dining companions for 21 meals during a 7 day cruise.

They still talk about the great experience of the tour.

I have cruised the Nile 4 times and Lake Nasser once. I never found one ship bad value for money, but I am easy going. It is what you expect beforehand.....
I like the Nile cruises. Easy going from one place to another and having your floating hotel taking you there. There are over 300 cruise ships going between Luxor and Aswan and back. It is hard to be on them all... I have been on 4 of them and they are quite the same.

About smoking.... I am a smoker and I will take care of none smokers. But Egypt is a very much smoking country. Respect that as well! Or don't go there at all!
