San Juan Municipio Travel Forum

Hi!
we're travelling to san juan end of may (over labor day weekend) and i wanted to know if there were any events on during this time? is this tourist season? i also wanted to know if it was hurricane season...thanks!!:)

I haven't yet posted all of the PR events that my friend forwarded me recently, but I will give you the May listing here. The dates are 2007, but I'm assuming that similar events will take place this year. The tropical weather of PR makes it an ideal vacation spot all year-round and therefore, you will see the constant stream of tourists flocking the island throughout the year. You will be there almost at the brink of full-blown tourist season and at the start of the hurricane season. You should be fine though. The hurricane season does not peak until the end of July through September. Please see below for possible events that you may want to check-out while there. Unfortunately, you will miss the grand San Juan Batista festival in the third week of June where the city of SJ comes alive!
