going to Full Moon in one month, never been there before (but several times in other islands) ... any tips about snorkeling ? is it good, average or poor ? Thank you very much ! mauro |

At Full Moon, snorkelling isn't great - the island is surrounded by sand, and it's a marathon swim out to any rocks or coral, though some do it. Have a look on the web for aerial photos of the island and you'll see what I mean.
The resorts arranges boat trips for snorkellers to Banana Reef, (which I'm not familiar with), and to Kuda Bandos, (Little Bandos). Even here, snorkelling is pretty average, and nowhere near as good as on the close-by island of Bandos Resort. But take your gear by all means. There's no better way of puttering about in the water, under that tropic sun.
