Waco Clothing for Winter in Waco
Posted: Thu October 24, 2002 02:30 AM UTC
Hi,

I'm a woman from Costa Rica (a tropical country) and I'm going to Waco in December.

What should I bring? A coat?
Lined boots? Scarf? What?

I would appreciate any info on this matter! I don't have a clue!

Your sunny smile will help along with some warm clothing. A coat,
sweater, light boots, and rain coat.
The weather is very cool but not
extremely cold. And it may be cool one day and warm the next. But usually you can expect it to be cool.

I don't know what the rainy months are. But I do know that it could be sunny one day and rainy another.
The weather will be warmer at the beginning of the month and colder towards the next. Because of the high humidty it feels colder and damp. It could go as low as 30
but usually it is around 50 degrees or a little higher. it is San Jose
weather but 20 or so degrees colder in December in Waco.

A rainy month is going on right now...it seems like it's been raining here for all of October. It usually rains alot in the spring (March, April.) And, our winters are usually pretty mild...with maybe a week or two of really cold, winter-style weather.
