Xi'an	xian enroute datong Posted: Tue March 18, 2008 03:06 AM UTC hi, we are thinkng of stopping at datong for a day to see the yungang caves on our way from beijing to xian. When i try to check for the train schedule, the datong-xian or xian-datong takes 16 hours. its on the 1673 non-air con train. Are there any other train time or should i be taking a bus from datong to xian ? If so, can anyone provide the departure times and time taken for the bus travel. Thanks! hi,
