| Verona | Still looking for Accommodations in Verona Posted: Sun March 16, 2008 01:36 PM UTC
Hi-
I am still looking for inexpensive accommodations in Verona for my travels in May (accessible to public transportation and safe). I tried calling the youth hostel there (they do not have an email address), and no one picks up. To get my visa for travel, it necessary to have proof of reservation/accommodations for all my travel days. Suggestions, please. Thanks |

Look at www.hostelworld.com or www.hostelbookers.com Booking through them will give you the appropriate paperwork, I should think.

I guess you called Villa Francescatti, as it is the only hostel in town.
http://www.ostellionline.org/ostello.php?idostello=540 Try to fax them (+39 045 8009127 ) The phone anyway is +39 045 590360. Any time zone problem? Where are you calling from? If you do not succeed, come back to this trhead, and i'll give you a few more ideas.... but be aware that NOTHING compares in prices... Ciao Francesco

Anyway, if you don't mind these (http://www.tourism.verona.it/_vti_g2_srSr.aspx?rpstry=28_) are religious institutes providing a certain degree of hospitality... all over the province (only few in town).

I did finally get a phone answer, and they said that they do not do bookings for individual people (only groups).

try ob B&B Fraccaroli, near the historical downtown (500 meters) and the university. http://www.bed-and-breakfast-in-italy.com/pagina.c or try on http://www.bed-and-breakfast-in-italy.com/ Giorgio
