Well I met a wonderful girl from bogota who I am in Love with and want to rent a apertment in Bogota in the next 9 months so that i can be there with her. she is a student at on of the univeristys. And what i would like to do is rent a apartment in the north or close to the north. I will have to return to the states every 2 months for 2 weeks to attend to my business but i want to rent a unfurinshed apartment for at least a year. All people tell me is that i wont be able to rent in Bogota cause i need to own property to rent. can i get my girlfriend to rent the apartment and i just pay all the bills? or is it hard for locals to rent? what should i do? someone please help as i can not bare the thought of not being able to be with my girl...Sin Gringo in love with Rolla...

The point you make is an interesting one. I am also interested in the answers you'll get (not only for Bogota). I think that in an earlier posting there has been mentioned a certain website like welovebogota or something like that.
