My husband has taken a cab from Jersey City to Newark and it cost him about $40 one way. You can take the path, it's a great way to travel. From Newark Airport, catch the train to Newark Penn Station where you can switch to the Path from there to go to Jersey City or Hobokon. To get to the Hyatt, you probably want to take the path to the stop at Journal Square. Hope that helps. You can just go njtransit.com to look at times for trains going to Newark Penn STation from the airport. Hope that helps.
