Las Vegas Live bands
Posted: Sat March 15, 2008 11:42 AM UTC
I'm going to Vegas with my partner on 26th April and staying for 6 nights.

We've booked some shows and the Grand Canyon tour, but I'd like to see some live bands.

We don't want tribute acts or karaoke, we want to see some proper bands doing either Rock, Indie, Reggae, Americana, Country.

Can anyone recommend some venues?

TIA

Thanks for the quick response, but I was rather hoping that I could get some recommendations i.e which bars are good and which are not so good.

The lobby bar in Mandalay Bay is quite good as is the Fontana Bar at Bellagio

If you'll look on the concert link on the page I gave you, it will not only have the band, date, time and price, but also the venue. You can then check the Las Vegas travel guide here on VT, and member pages. Most of these venues will have already been reviewed. If you find one that hasn't, just post another question in the forum. Thanks for the link to the web site. But, rather than big concert venues I was hoping that there would be some smaller bars that had local bands playing.

Carnvial Court outside at Harrah's is the place to go. They have live bands starting in the afternoon and going until 2am. The bartenders put on a great show also. Many different acts perform their from lounge types like Cook E. Jarr to Rock bands all day and evening entertainment
