Long Beach Travel Forum

Hi there!!

I'm travelling around CA this summer and I've got a spare night inbetween hermosa and huntington beach. Where do u advise to stay Redondo or Long beach?? or anywhere else thats near?

Manhattan Beach is the best, and when I lived in LA (many moons ago) had the most swinging night life - attracted many professional athletes and overall party people. It's still my favorite.

I'm there for a month, going to hermosa, huntington, newport, san diego, palm springs, pasadena, santa monica. (as well as new york, vegas & boston)

Can't wait its gonna be fantastic!

A couple of general links for San Diego: (1) For Events,etc: www.whatsonwhen.com,(2) For Restaurants: www.sandiegorestaurants.com.(3) Restaurants, Part II, you might look specifically at the Sunday Brunch held in the Crown Room, at the Del Coronado Hotel: www.hoteldel.com/dining/crown.cfm, & the Pacifica Del Mar Restaurant: www.pacificadelmar.com. They have a wine night & also have a lot of dining specials at very good prices. A HUGE general site for Las Vegas: www.a2zlasvegas.com. redodndo beach is right next to hermosa beach.
it's praticly the same neighbourhood.

on the way to huntington beach you might want to consider newport beach.
just be aware that newport beach is not cheap.
