| Penang | How is it expected to be in June? Posted: Fri March 14, 2008 02:29 PM UTC
I have Malaysia in my plans and now I m finding a good deal for a 5* beachfront resort. So how about being there in June? Shall I enjoy the beach and sun ? It will be crowded, normal or empty? Are thunderstorms possible?
Any replies about travelling to Malaysia will be very much appreciated! |

I live in Penang. June is not considered raining season here but I am no weather forcaster :) In June, you can get the famous Balik Pulau durian in season - do give it a try. December is the high tourist season.

weather is msia is hot and wet all year round.
so anytime, should be great. And also free from any other natural disasters. Tsunami that happend last few years is an exception. there is kinda of long beach around batu ferringhi. you should be able to find some areas that are not so crowded. crowded areas are near the golden sands hotels, lone pine and rasa sayang. these 3 hotels are most recommended depending on your budget. the best will be rasa sayang which is one of the beautiful hotel in pg. newly renovated followed by lone pine and golden sands estimated prices are as follow in ringgit(RM) golden sands hotels, rm 400 lone pine, rm 250 rasa sayang, rm750 Park Royal rm 450 i am not a travel agent so do double confirm the new pricings from the travel agents hope these helps. have a great day in pg Sean
