going to waikiki staying at the aqua palms, herd go oahu card is a good deal, has anyone out there used the go card? if so, will most attractions pick you up at the hotel??

When I went to Oahu last year, I thought about getting this card but it ended up we better off without it. It's all dependent on you wanting to go to the attractions offered through the card. For example, we did not go snorkeling at Hanauma Bay because we heard there is a ton of people there. So, instead, we went to Oahu's north shore, Haleiwa, which was extremely wonderful! To see the Arizona Memorial is free - see my Pearl City travel page for info on that. The wait time to enter is like 3 to 4 hours but you can be more efficient. Taxi's aren't too expensive and there are trolley cars you can hop on in Waikiki. We also enjoyed horseback riding which I think the go card doesn't offer. So, like I said, it's all about what you really want to do. I can't stress enough that if you go to Oahu, you need to visit the north shore area. It is absolutely wonderful! Great food out there, too!

Been there a lot and never found it any use - no savings either. True savings can be had if you have military connections.
Try Hawaiian Cultural Center if you are truly interested in the people ...
North Shore is not only beautiful but low key - good turtle viewing...
The Dole Planation was very interesting.
But if you are able snorkle or scube while there. Water is warm and usually clear so visibility is great.
Hawaii is great lots to do but it can get expensive. Planning will help.

You might look at the entertainment book as it has several coupons including one for the Polynesian Cultural Center in Laie.
Also you will see booklets in the airport and many other places for Go Oahu and Oahu This Week plus some others and most have coupons and you can get some online.
Aloha tower Marketplace usually has some and Ala Moana Shopping Center, Royal Hawaiian both may some.
