| Cancún | Pregnant in Cancun for Spring Break Posted: Wed March 12, 2008 04:41 PM UTC
Hiya, just after some ideas...
My friend and I are going to Mexico for 2 weeks in April however I am going to be 18 weeks pregnant when we arrive. Is there going to be alot of stuff we can get involved in whilst we're there baring in mind I cant drink alcohol. We really want to enjoy the holiday but Im getting scared maybe I'll just get fed up with a load of drunk people! Would you advise we still go to some of the clubs that have shows on etc or what kind of thing could we do? Thanks in advance Han |

The BEST article I've ever read on Cancun can be found here: http://travel.nytimes.com/2008/03/09/travel/09Frugal.html
Maybe it'll give you some ideas! Robert

That article's a good start. If you get bored hanging out at the pool/beachc, there's a bunch to do in the area. Lots of good day trips... great ruins at Chichen Itza and Tulum, snorkeling, a trip to Playa del Carmen would be fun.
Don't get me wrong, there will be loads of drunk people, but if you like culture and nature, you'll be able to find lots of things to do.

Spring Break in Cancun will proably have finished by the time you get there. Or, for the most part - it'll all be over. It's your body and your child, and your decision as to the risks to take with the pregnancy. Consult your physician and use good judgment.
