What are your thoughts on the following itineary:

3 nights Phan Thiet which covers Mui Ne, Ca Na Beach

O.K. but don't forget Nha Trang is 400 kms from HCMC and not on the best of roads so it's not just a 4 hour trip.

Hi,

I'd like to share you as follows:

I/ HO CHI MINH CITY,
Constructed in an area of 2,090 square kilometres and beautifully embraced by winding rivers and green countryside, Ho Chi Minh City is Vietnam’s biggest and most populated city of over 5 million inhabitants and is the main gateway to welcome guests to Vietnam. This young, fashionable city boasts of not only the most important centre of trade, industry and tech – science of Vietnam but also one of the most fascinating destinations for visitors. Ho Chi Minh City is also called with another familiar name – Saigon, which was once known by the world under the title "Saigon – Pearl of the Far East".

Visitors will feel comfortable and pleasant here by the available conveniences that Ho Chi Minh City offers. Throughout the city, visitors will feel a warm welcome and be greeted by friendly smiles that the optimistic people of this city have to offer. However, beside the modern appearance and the bustling daily activities to be seen, Saigon is also an ideal place for those who want to discover the highlights of the Oriental culture. Here, in the heart of the city, you will see ancient Vietnamese-style pagodas, characteristic age-old temples and communal houses, a charming China Town of the 17th century, or you can find a hint of the 19th century European culture by the famous French-built churches and monuments. Each of which is really worth a visit.

II/ NHA TRANG
Nha Trang, the capital city of Khanh Hoa province with a population of about 250,000, is 450 km northeast of Ho Chi Minh City. Nha Trang City is the most picturesque coastal town and the nicest beach resort of all in Vietnam, equipped with rather perfect infrastructure. To the East Sea, Nha Trang City is bordered by a charming white-sand beach which stretches 7 km, semi-circle shaped and coconut palm fringed. The turquoise water around update Trang City is almost transparent; it is excellent for swimming, fishing, snorkelling and scuba diving. Along the seashore, there are many good hotels and restaurants serving special dishes and delicious seafood. Its many offshore islands provide the wonderful places for tourist and discovery activities.
The City receives a great number of sunny hours, and it is therefore wonderful for sea swimming and sunbathing.

III/PHAN THIET - MUI NE
Phan Thiet, the capital town of Binh Thuan province, is built along both banks of the Ca Ty River that is also the harbour for hundreds of fishing boats. Phan Thiet is known for its beautiful sandy beaches, a brand new golf course and excellent seaside resorts with luxurious cottages viewing the sea. Toward east of the town is Mui Ne Beach - one of the spectacular seaside spots in Vietnam. On the way to Mui Ne beach from Phan Thiet town, visitors can also stop by to see the Ponasu Cham Tower dating back to the 8th century, located on a low hill.

I hope this infos are helpful for you

Have fun,

Andy

Given you stated aim this will work well and you will enjoy. Personally i dont like beaches so would not do that itinery .... only thing i would suggest is perhaps give HCMC an extra day if you can....
Happy honeymoon.

We were in HCMC 3 weeks ago and took a 40 minute flight to Da Lat in the highlands, just fantastic, the real Vietnam, rural setting, national park, hills and mountains, the Lat people, waterfalls and cool weather. This area was discovered by the French in 1893. Very fertile land , beautiful food, local vegetables are out of this world. Airfare with Vietnam Airways US $32.50 one way, we had a driver bring us back to HCMC, 7 hours drive for the 300km.

Good Luck,
Mike

Hello

i think you should travel to Nha Trang for 2night flight to Hoian for 3 night 2night in Saigon.
Day 1: Arrival day overnight in Saigon. Day 2: Enjoy Saigon. Day 3: Morning flight to Nhatrang enjoy relax on beach overnight in Nhatrang. Day 4: enjoy Nhatrang, then you can take train or continue flight to Hoian stay for 3 nights, my recomendation you should stay in Hoian instead of Muine, because Hoian is great beach and great foods, great shopping place, pretty pleasure place for honey moon trip. you should book through travel agent in vietnam
let try out to drop few lines for Viet Vision Travel . they take good care of you and affordable

Enjoy have great time
