Can anyone advise the best places to see cherry blossoms in Beijing at the end of Mar ? I have heard of a place called Yuyuantang park - is this the right/best place ?

Chinese call Cherry blossom as YU Lan flower. Yes, Yu Yuantan park is a good place to see YU Lan flower. But it will be many many people at that time.

Cherry blossoms are ying1 hua1.
Yu4 lan2 hua1 are magnolias!

Yuyuantan (not Yuyuantang) Park is the right place to see cherry blossoms in Beijing.

unfortunately, cherry blossom is good for view at the begining of April and best in middle of April.

hello.. last year i've visited beijing in mid april.. and yeap.. cherry blossom, but some falls everywhere...
but i think end of march it's okay. best visit to go to YI HE YUAN/ SUMMER PALACE aisa- indonesia
