I am attending a conference in Taipei (mid-July unfortunately) and considering spending 3 weeks traveling solo through the countryside (reading Lonely Planet). I am eager to hear about driving experiences and/or suggestions for transportation for making the most of my time. Also, should I have any serious concerns about traveling alone as a female?
