Hi - does anyone know the best way to get to Taman Negara from the Swiss garden hotel in KL? I've just booked the hotel and now notice that the buses seem to go from the Istiana or Mutiara. I am getting really confused about the best way to get there and I want to get it right as we'll have our 8 yr old in tow! Thankyou.

Taman Negara National Park is a popular tourist destination. There should be plenty of buses going there from KL. Check with the hotel or a travel agent as soon as you arrive.

Yes, this is something that could easily be arranged by any local travel agent after you arrive in KL, or even hotel concierges from other hotels. One option is to rent a car and drive yourself; it's not that difficult. See my transport tip for Taman Negara on how to avoid a needless 2 hour boat ride to get there.
