I am coming to Bergamo next week. How far is Alps, Can I get a view of it ...from around Bergamo. Also I want to make a day visit to Venice, would it be possible

Alps? Well, depend what you are meaning. Technically, Bergamo, as manu othere town, is at the foot of the Alps, that generally are know as Pre-alps. So yes, you can see Alps. If you mean the most famous ones... well, at least with regular visibility you won't see that much.
As for a day trip to venice, yes, it's possible, but unfortunately BErgamo isn't along the main train line Milan - Venice, so you have to go to Brescia first. Look at www.trenitalia.com for timetables, pointing as arriving station Venezia Santa Lucia Ciao Francesco

From Bergamo you can see mountains all around, if the weather is nice of course! If you want to have a closer view you can take a bus and go in the valleys and if you can/want to make hikes you can for sure get wonderful sights.
