Stockholm Choosing which accommodation in Stockholm - B&B?
Posted: Mon March 10, 2008 02:58 AM UTC
Hi there,

I've come across this booking of a Bed & Breakfast name Bo Bra Och Billigt (Best Bed & Breakfast) http://www.bbob.se/

Has anyone stay or seen this place/apt before? How's the location as it mentioned that it's located at Hornsgatan 111, Stockholm.

Any advice? Thanks!

Regards,
Lim

Hi,
to me this looks dodgy, it looks like a collection of families in the southern suburbs that lets you sleep in their appartments. Hornsgatan 111 is in the central parts of Stockholm but I couldnt find that on the webpage.

Today on the travel section they wrote a small piece about STF Fridhemsplan, which is a hostel located in the island of Kungsholmen. It has good communications to the city and it's OK priced. http://www.fridhemsplan.se/?p=Bed&c=

I couldn't find the place at Hornsgatan either.

Hi Lim,

As far as I know Bo Bra Och Billigt (http://www.bbob.se/)is very reliable and offers you a much comfortable accommodation than a hotel. The Stockholm hotels are too cool and expensive, and the hostels often a bit lousy. I often go to Stockholm and never choose a hotel anymore. There are similar services in Helsinki (http://www.hbb.fi/) and in Copenhagen but I have not found any in Oslo yet.

God bless, one should sit on the internet too late at night - and make mistakes!

My intention was to recommend BBA, the Bed and Breakfast Agency (http://www.bba.nu), that I only have good to say: nice organizer and good apartments. She often closes for July, however.
The other one (Bo Bra och Billigt) I have NOT used. I tried once but for some reason they stopped replying me in the middle of the reservation process.

Sorry for this confusion.
