There is a Holiday Inn Select on Capitol Avenue about 1/2 mile from Turner Field. Also if you stay further in downtown there is a MARTA shuttle from Underground Atlanta continuously starting about 90 minutes before game time. It will cost you $3.50 for a round trip ticket, the ride takes about 15 minutes and drops you off right at the stadium and picks you up there afterward as well. Hope you get to see Galvine or Smoltz pitch. If I can be of further help, let me know.

What Rex said! Actually, if you wanted to stay on any of the hotels along the Marta line, you could stay anywhere from downtown north, through mid town and up to buckhead. There are several hotels in the Lindbergh area that are a short walk from a marta station as well as several in the buckhead area that are right on the Marta lines.

There is no direct rail line to the park, but Marta runs shuttles from the Five Points station to the ball park.

Alternatively, it might be fun to have some VT'ers get together for a ball game! If that were the case, I'm sure a ride could be arranged to and from the park. :-)
