Hello there!
I'm from the UK and I'm visiting Boston for 2 nights at the end of july and I'm looking for any info on:
Where is the best area is stay?
Hotels that are nice and clean but not over priced?
Any places to go see/visit?
Any other info from any of you locals??

Thank you for your time and help

Anywhere around downtown Boston is fine, where you are right in the heart of all the action, and have access to the famous sights. Also, surrounding areas such as Cambridge, Brookline, or anywhere in the airport area is good.

There are affordable mid-range hotel accommodations in the area, but make sure to pre-book as reservations get competitive during peak summer travel times and prices tend to be higher around then. Here's a weblink to start your hotel search:

There are many historical sights to see, among them: Freedom Trail, Bunker Hill, USS Constitution, etc. Not to be missed areas are: Boston Common, North End, Boston Harbor, Boston Harbor Islands, Charles River, local museums, hundreds or so universities/colleges/schools in & around the area.

Goodluck and enjoy your trip to beautiful & charming Boston!

Some friends of mine stayed at the Chandler Inn. @ blocks from green or orange lines, in the Back Bay, off of Berkeley St. also go to the Institute of Contemporary Art on the waterfront. Have fun
