4 adult travelers would like info on a 2 bedroom apartment to stay at while in Oxford for mid july 2008 for one week. We would like to be close to transportation and not have to rent a car.
Thanks for your help Ellen |

a nice way to stay in oxford,is at some of the universities.
they rent out rooms during the summer, and are all central on or near the high street.

Didn't mention them, as they are not 'apartments' (they are b&b). But info here if you are interested:

some students are sub-letting their apartments/rooms during vacations. however, i'm not sure if you could get something for one week. try www.dailyinfo.co.uk , this is the place on the web where most people post their offers / make requests for accomodation in oxford. renting one of the college rooms, as already proposed, is a nice way of getting a place to stay right in the city centre. but usually, college rooms are rather expensive for non-members and not very well equipped.
