I don't think there is an age limit to get in. The interior of course does not look like the set of the TV show.

Cheers is actually the Bull & Finch Pub in Boston at 84 Beacon Street. They serve great food as well, so no age limit in the restaurant pub but the bar/nightclub is 21.

Actually, there are TWO Cheers. The original, where all the exterior shots of the TV show were filmed, is on Beacon Street. And yes, you are correct that the interior looks nothing like the TV show, where a Hollywood set designer decided what Cheers SHOULD look like. Now, however, there is a second Cheers at Quincy Market called the Replica, that looks like the TV version. Same food and souveniers. AlanSM
