I was hoping someone could help build an itinerary that will get me from Rome to Giulianova. I was thinking of spending two full days in Rome (check in sunday night, check out Wednesday morning). I need to be in Giulianova for my sisters wedding by Thursday. Is there somewhere we can stop on the way for one day? We will leave Giulianova on Sunday morning. Is there a one week itinerary we should follow?

How are you travelling? If you are going by train, then between Rome and Ancona you could stop in Spoleto. If driving, you could stop at L'Aquila and take day trips from there, see http://www.initaly.com/regions/abruzzo/castles.htm.
What do you mean by a one-week itinerary? You will apparently be in Rome on Sunday (evening), Monday and Tuesday, leaving on Wednesday and you need to be in Giulianova by Thursday, so you only have 1 day to spend somewhere else on the way, and then it's merely a matter of what to do in/near Giulianova on Friday and Saturday. Assuming that you are busy on Thursday, you could visit Giulianova itself on one day and Giulianova Lido on the other, but if you think you have time to go further, take a look at http://www.webtourist.net/italy/giulianova/tourist-information.phtml for ideas.
