It's 10 miles north of the falls, there are buses from May to September.

The above link should give you lots of info. on the "Peoplemover" bus system along the Niagara Parkway between N-O-T-L and NF. If you enjoy cycling or rollerblading, the pathways along the Parkway are great for this but can be busy in the warmer months.

i am late in posting my 2 bits as always, but traveling north from niagara falls on the niagara parkway all the way to niagara on the lake is on my plan for long weekends beginning late March, but especially from May onwards. there are just so many attractions like the floral clock, butterfly and botanical gardens, overhead trolley car, etc, that children will definately enjoy.
it is car drive for me, but yes cycling or roller blading is a great suggestion.
