Re: Tampa on 4th July Posted: Sun March 9, 2008 03:23 AM UTC
It's hot in Florida in July, probably in the mid-90s at the hottest part of the day.
Interesting around JuLy 4th or interesting in general? There are various July 4th fireworks displays around the Tampa/St. Petersburg area. There will be one along the city of Tampa waterfront as there is one each year. Not sure about hotels and flights. Have you checked now, it seems this far in advance there should be hotels and flights still available.
Also St. Pete Beach is about 30 miles from downtown Tampa so which area do you want to explore. Tampa has Busch Gardens, a theme park with roller coasters and an extensive collection of African animals. St. Pete Beach has beaches and nature.
BTW, it's St. Pete Beach, if you say St. Pete's Beach everyone knows you are from out of town and most likely from Great Britain.
