I want to find an inexpensive, clean and comfortable hotel in central Bethlehem, only my emails to those advertised on the Internet don't seem to get anywhere. Can anyone help? I'm also looking for a reliable guide/translator for about a week. Aain, any guidance would be appreciated.

Other wise my friend Johnny's family owns a hotel with in a 5 minute walk from the square, I can't remember the name, but it is located next to Johnny's Souvenir Shop on the main street into Bethlehem. This is the number to the Souvenir Shop, ask for Johnny or Maria (his daughter), they both speak perfect English.

Have fun it is a beautiful place. I would worry too much about a translator as almost everyone speaks workable English.
