Hi,

I would like to visit Maldives in December 2008 with some friends from Sri Lanka. This is like a gift from me for a couple who are planning to get married in December.

Please kindly provide information about cheap (I meant CHEAPEST) air tickets, hotel packages and other general stuffs.

Cheap is difficult to do in the Maldives. I know when I was looking around, Kuramathi was the cheapest option for me but I also know that you get more options from Sri Lanka - we are limited from the UK by the operators and which islands they have contracts with. Hi I visited Sun Islad Resort in South Ari Atoll recently and paid app. £2,600 for two people for 7 nts all inclusive 4*. It was a brilliant place to visit and since our return we'e looked at going to a different island towards the end of the year and it seems to cost about the same.
