Hrodna From UK to Minsk
Posted: Fri March 7, 2008 04:24 PM UTC
We are planning to drive a van from the UK to Minsk and will be crossing
from Poland to Belarus at the Hrodna border. The van will contain items for a baby hospital,a childrens camp and for elderly people. Can anyone advise me on what, if any, paper work I will need to complete - problems or pitfalls I may encounter- and just any general advice. all help appreciated.

thanks

Are you taking these items to a charity or to specific places, not just 'on spec'? If so, I suggest you contact one or all of those places and ask for advice. I'm pretty sure you will need some sort of paperwork to show you do not intend to sell the items in the van.

But (assuming you are not the chaps mentioned in this newsreport!) look at

It might be worth using the email link provided to ask their advice.

Hello leics

Thanks for your suggestions. We aren't the people mentioned in the article
but I have sent an e-mail to Ted to ask what procedures he followed. As the items are going to specific places already identified I will also contact them to give me documentation to confirm that.

Once again thanks for your help.
