Salut Sophie. I'm not 100% positive about the majority of the museums but I'm almost sure they will be open, because it's a vacation period for us in Mexico and most of those who cannot travel somewhere make some "local tourism" instead -- in other words, we Mexico city dwellers take this opportunity to look around our own city and visit the main tourist attractions. So I suppose those places will be open then.
What I'm positive about is Teotihuacan: it will be open, I just saw their schedule at their official website and they have a special operation in place because Teotihuacan is a very popular place to spend the "Spring equinox". People go there because they believe it's a place that gets filled with "positive energy/vibe" during the season change and thus MANY people visit the place all dressed in white to absorb all those energies. So they can't close Teotihuacan during this period, and Good Friday is exactly march 21, so they will be open everyday during the week in order to host all the visitors that come here for the equinox. I hope you enjoy your stay at my city..... a bientot!!
