Nothing special about the oxygen that's sold there.
Personally I feel that there's no need to bring oxygen. Most people seem to have no problem with altitude there.

As ellyse said, you can buy oxygen there. It comes in a canister and a small mask you put over your face. I did not need any so I don't know what the cost is. I don't remember seeing anyone using ozygen at Jiuzhaigou.
I don’t think Jiuzhaigou is that high. You may go over some mountain passes should you take a bus from Chengdu but it is up and down. So you should not be at altitude too long. I have a tip about high altitude in my Tibet section. http://members.virtualtourist.com/m/9e4cc/5a7/

It seems no problem for going to Jiuzhaigou if you do not visit Huanglong, I've seen some visitors suffered nose bleeding and painful headache at Huanglong.
To prevent mountain sickness, take Tibetan herbs called 'Hongjingtian' or capsules called 'Nuodikang' 3-4 days in advance but I do not suggest to do so unless you've consulted your doctor or you do not worry abt taking such Chinese herbs. Alternative way is to rent an oxygen bag at the entrance but I do not know if it works. The best way I believe is to pay attention to your diet, having more vegetables and fruits. Wish you a good trip.

In Jiuzhaigou you do not have any altitude problem but if you are going to Huanlong the thing is different:
-First : you must past , by car , the Xuebaoding that is at 4004 m altitude. You may stop to see the views , but there you are not doing any effort , so you shouldn´t have any problem Second :After you descend the teleferic in Huanglong , you may get free oxigen there if you need , you only pay 10Y for the container Third : I have had altitude problems in other places , but here I had not any , may be because you have a relaxed walk , all the time down the hill. I hope you will not have altitude problems and that you enjoy this beautiful sites Buen viaje !!!!!

I saw no one using oxygen on my trip to Jiuzhaigou and Huanglong. I think it also helped that we went to Jiushaguo first so we acclimatized.

See the photo included in my Jiuzhaigou page
I gave you some wrong info : the price for the gas container is " 2 Yuan " and not 10 as I told you before
