| New Orleans | Advice on transportation needed Posted: Fri March 7, 2008 06:01 AM UTC
Several out of town guests will be staying at the Sheraton on Canal Street and would like to go to the Mid-City Rock and Bowl. Is there a bus (buses) that drive that route or is the only way to get there by cab? If so, what buses (transfers) would they have to take? Are the bustops in safe areas?

I'd take a cab. It's quicker and simpler than figuring out bus routes. Plus, the area around Mid City Lanes can be sketchy at night, and I wouldn't want to be standing there waiting for a bus. They should enter the cab company's number in their cell phones so they have it handy when they want to leave.

I agree, a taxi is the way to go.
