| Dublin | Easter brunch or dinner in Dublin Posted: Thu March 6, 2008 12:55 PM UTC
I'll be in Dublin over Easter weekend and realize there is already a post about things to do. But I'm wondering, in particular, about somewhere reasonably nice to have Easter brunch or dinner. I've tried checking the websites of several restaurants for Easter special menus, but have had little luck. Any suggestions for within Dublin city centre or along the coast/DART line?
Cheers! |

Hi a wee bit out of the centre in the North side is the Regency Hotel where in the Appian Lounge you'll find live jazz sessions taking place every Sunday morning.

I guess I'm not picky or particular - do Irish people go out on Easter at all or do most tend to stay at home for meals? The Regency sounds like a good option. Thanks.

Check out www.aqua.ie. Restaurant in Howth - on harbour wall with fantastic coastal views from huge plate glass windows - spectacular. Meals may be a little pricey (see menu's online) but early bird special is very good value. You can take the Dart from central Dublin to a short distance from this scenic harbour. Other restaurants/ coastal+cliff+ harbour walks also in Howth see V.T. page.
