I have a long 7 hour layover on a flight from Odessa to Athens in Warsaw. I have never been there and would like to know how far/difficult it is to get from the airport to the city center. I would like to go see something and eat dinner. My layover is from 1520 to 2240. It will be me and my friend (2 girls) traveling. Please give recommendations if this can be done or if it would be better to just sit at the airport, and if it can be done, what should we see, since we have a short amount of time.

7h is too long to sit at the small airport,the more that "Okecie" is near the city center.
20-30 min (in rush hours a litlle more)way by taxi or city bus.Go to the dowtown "Starowka",have a dinner,have a look at old part of Warsaw (The Castle,RoyalTrack) and go back the airport.Mind the check time.

Hi Jenn, there's not too much to do at the airport and 7 hours is a long time to kill. Buses into town run from right outside the terminal and are pretty frequent. The old town square is good for a wander round and there are plenty of good restaurants in the area. We were only there for a couple of nights but loved the place. I have a few restaurant reviews on my Warsaw pages. Have a good trip.
