Can someone tell me if I need reservations for a taxi or is there good bus service to the Hotels?

When you get to the airport exit, there is a desk where you pay for your taxi --all taxis are regulated at the airport. You then go to the entrance with your ticket and the captain hails you a taxi. You can find taxi rates to Ixtapa here:
http://www.zihuatanejo.net/airporttaxi.html It also has info on buses too. Note all prices are in PESOS, not dollars.

Are you asking for Ixtapa, as in north of Acapulco or Ixtapa in Oaxaca? Your posting looks like you chose Oaxaca. If it is, sorry as I gave you info on Ixtapa, Guerrero.
