Hat Yai Travel Forum

I'll be going from KL to Koh Tao. Will be taking the night train from KL and will arrive in Hat Yai at 10.20am. How will I get to Surat Thani from there without waiting all day? I heard it's best to take the public bus. Does anybody have any information on that or a website where I can check the fare and timetables etc.? Any help will be appreciated :)

Actually, after you arrive at Hat Yai, you can go to Hat Yai Bus Terminal and contact them for information. There are buses leave for Bangkok daily (I think that they will allow you to get off the bus when they are passing Surat Thani) and other provinces in Southern Thailand including Surat Thani, with a fare of 150 Baht. you can check from any travel agency in hat yai,in hat yai bus terminal have two buses go to koh samui morning and afternoon.you shoul stay one night in koh samui,
